Sometimes it happens that we wonder what is right for our skin and what is not. There are many types of lip balm available in the market but most of them are not suitable for lips. Many people will suffer from dry and chapped lips but you don’t have to worry about this. In this post, you will learn how to make DIY lip balm with vaseline.

Use this balm for red lips and for dry lips.

Ingredients

  •  Take a small mixing bowl.
  •  A Spoon.
  • Water.
  • 2 Tablespoons of Vaseline.
  • 1  Tin or Jar.
  • 1 tablespoon beetroot powder.
  • A Heatproof Bowl.

How to make it

  • Put two tablespoons of Vaseline and water in a heatproof bowl and heat it for 40 or 50 seconds.
  • Pour it into a small bowl and add beetroot powder to the red color and mix well until there is no knot.
  • Put the mixture into the Oz tin or jar and allow the lip balm mixture to cool and keep in the fridge to set.

Ingredients

  • Mixing Bowl.
  • Water.
  • A Spoon.
  • 1 Tin or Jar.
  • 2 Tablespoon of Vaseline.
  • 1 Teaspoon of Honey.
  • Heatproof Bowl.

How to make it

  • Put two tablespoons of vaseline and water in a heatproof bowl and heat it for 4 to 5 minutes or until it is dissolved.
  • Pour the liquid into a bowl with 1 teaspoon of honey, and mix them properly.
  • Finally, fill 1 tin or jar with the mixture, allow the lip balm mixture to cool, and keep in the fridge to set.

3. DIY Mint Lip balm with Vaseline

Peppermint oil plays an essential role in lip balm available in the market. The menthol present in its helps to fight against wind-chapped or sun-burnt lip, and treat chapped lips. In addition, it gives a cooling and refreshing effect on your lips.

Ingredients

  • Mixing Bowl.
  • A Spoon.
  • 2 Tablespoon of Vaseline.
  • Peppermint Oil.
  • 1 Tin or Jar.

How to make it

  • Put two tablespoons of vaseline into a bowl.
  • Add six drops of peppermint oil.
  • Mixed both the ingredients well then fill it in 1 tin or jar and keep in the fridge to set.

4. DIY Berry Lip Balm

Strawberries are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, which is good for nourishing the lips and it also makes the lips red.

Ingredients

  • Heatproof Bowl.
  • Mixing Bowl.
  • A Spoon.
  • 1 Tin or Jar.
  • 2 Tablespoon of Vaseline.
  • 1 Tablespoon Berry-flavored kool-aid.
  • Water.

How to make it

  • Put two tablespoons of vaseline and water in a heatproof bowl and heat it for 4 to 5 minutes or until it is dissolved.
  • Pour the liquid into a bowl with 1 teaspoon of Berry-flavored kool-aid, and mix them properly.
  • Fill with tin or jar with the mixture, allow the lip balm mixture to cool, and keep in the fridge to set.

Note:– Do not use this lip balm after one month. It is better to make lip balm again because it is not usable after one month.
