- A jar

Step1. Choose your favorite rose plant that you want to plant. With the help of a pruner, gently cut the stem about 6 meters long in height at 45 degrees. Do not cut the blooming rose plant to root, if you are using, remove the buds, flowers, and small stem.
Step2. Take a jar and fill with half lukewarm water, place the rose cutting in a jar. If you are taking two or three cuttings stems for rooting and they are thin so you can easily place them in one jar. Ensure that no leaves are underwater. Place the jar on the window sill or indirect sunlight.
Step3. Replace the water with fresh water every 3 to 4 days. This process generally takes three to four weeks for rooting. Sometimes it takes longer, but don’t lose hope, just keep taking care of it.

Step4. When the roots are 2 to 4 inches long. Take a pot or container, poke a drainage hole in the bottom, and fill it with the potting mix soil. Step5. Water well and place the pot again in indirect sunlight, and avoid hot weather. Water the plant as needed to keep the soil moist.
